“Mining” My Sketchbook

I’ve let sketchbook work slide for months. and I’m trying to get back into it. I feel a bit rusty and need some help, so I’ve been looking at older sketches and picking out this and that to use in new ones - maybe it’s a shape or a way I layered straight and curved lines. I remember an artist at Penland years ago referred to this or something similar as “mining your sketchbook.”

I know there are some little uncut gems in there…
